Required Training for Colorado Residents
Class Description
Meet the mandatory training requirements for your Colorado Concealed Carry Permit with our comprehensive course. This session is designed to help you carry responsibly and confidently by covering state regulations, essential safety protocols, and situational awareness training. The full-day course runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and features classroom instruction followed by range qualification. To earn your certification, participants must achieve at least 80% on the written exam and a 70% qualification score on the range. The course fee includes the class, an NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting book, coffee and snacks, two test certifications, all necessary targets, and some Watchman’s merchandise. Please note that the course fee does not include use of a firearm, ammunition, holster, safety glasses, or hearing protection; students are required to bring their own equipment, though rentals can be arranged if needed. Course locations rotate based on availability and weather, with indoor ranges utilized during inclement conditions.

Class Policy
Cancellations & Refunds: If you need to cancel, you must do so at least 24 hours before class to receive a full refund. Cancellations made under 24 hours will incur a fee of $50, and the remaining balance will be refunded. No-shows forfeit the entire class fee and will not be refunded. Rescheduling: You may reschedule your class one time without penalty, provided you notify us at least 24 hours prior to the class start time. Requests made less than 24 hours before class may be subject to the cancellation fee. Zero Tolerance Safety Policy Firearms safety is our absolute priority. All students must strictly adhere to all safe gun handling practices and immediately obey commands given by the instructor or Range Safety Officer (RSO). If a student acts in an unsafe manner or fails to follow instructions, they will be immediately dismissed and removed from the range. No refunds will be issued for dismissals due to safety violations. Drug & Alcohol Policy We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy. For safety reasons, we do not train individuals who use recreational drugs of any kind, including marijuana. Additionally, no alcohol may be consumed within 24 hours prior to or during the class. If the instructor suspects a student is a user of recreational drugs, or is under the influence of alcohol or any impairing substance (including prescription medication), the student will be immediately dismissed. No refunds will be issued. Late Arrivals Classes begin promptly. To ensure the class stays on schedule, anyone who arrives more than 15 minutes late will not be permitted to join and will need to reschedule. Legal Requirements By booking this class, you verify that you meet the minimum age requirements and are legally permitted to possess a firearm. If it is discovered you are legally prohibited from possessing a firearm, your registration will be canceled. Liability Waiver All participants must sign a physical Liability and Safety Waiver in person prior to the start of the class. Refusal to sign will result in immediate cancellation of your registration, and the class fee will be forfeited. Right to Refuse Service The instructor reserves the right to refuse service, training, or access to the range to anyone, at any time, for any reason, to maintain a safe training environment.
